My 35 second video “g l i t c h p l e @ s e”, meant to recreate a windows 95 porn pop-up, is littered with highly saturated gifs and backgrounds. My actresses are cast in brightly colored wigs and are captured sucking down blow pops along with firecracker ice pops. I placed these women in a fantasy world with the use of unnatural internet-based color schemes. This video has paved the way for my other pieces for the fact that I loved working in this palette and subject. The video first appeared as a link that occupied the main page of the Rutgers Art Homepage. For a whole 24 hours, my video was played on a loop to best mimic a porno pop-up.
